because when I went out to put something in a car last week, I almost stepped on an itty bitty bun-rab. And then almost fell on my back in a startle. With my arms full of a box or two.

Dr. P tried to declare that the yard was a wildlife refuge and he couldn't mow it anymore. Like that works. We just ask that he do his best to scare the bunnies before running them over, but the one I saw was old enough that it would not be in peril from the mower.

Yes, they are. And I haven't had any in a VERY long time.

Hmmmm. I wonder where I'd get some if I wanted it. No, I'm not inclined to trap or shoot the ones in the neighborhood. I was thinking more along the lines of meat markets or restaurants. I once knew a man who raised them, but that was several decades ago.
